1.In Windows Vista, scanning may fail if the computer has resumed from standby with the scanner driver (ScanGear) active.
Preventive action:
Remove and insert the USB cable, or power OFF/ON the scanner.
2.In Windows Vista, there is only one address book for a logged on user to use with the FAX driver. Therefore, the function of changing the address book using the Address Book Profile... button is not available.
3.The Address Book for the fax driver created in Windows XP will not be displayed after the upgrade to Windows Vista.
Preventive action:
Open the Canon.wab file in "C:\User\Canon\AppData\Roaming\Canon," and the Address Book for the fax driver created in Windows XP will be exported to Windows Contacts (Windows Address Book).
4.In Windows Vista, even after clicking the "?" button in the Send Fax dialog or in the Address Book dialog for the fax driver to open Help, the Help window or the balloon will not be displayed.
Preventive action:
From Windows Help and Support displayed on the left, see the Microsoft support website to take necessary action.
5.Software windows may not appear correctly on Windows Vista when fonts are set to Larger scale.
Preventive action:
If you want to display the windows with Larger scale fonts, set the desktop customized theme to Windows Classic.
Download / Installation Procedures
1. Click the link, select [ Save ], specify "Save As", then click [ Save ] to download the file.
Memo :
If you select [ Run ] ( or [ Open ] ) instead of [ Save ], the file will be automatically installed after it is saved.
2. The downloaded file will be saved in the specified place in the self-extracting form ( .exe format ).
3. Double-click the downloaded EXE file to decompress it, then installation will start automatically.
